About Ethical Media.

The world with its ballooning population in advance of 7 billion people is closely linked technologically by means of the internet, satellite communication, and cell phones. Crisis, calamity, and corruption are instantly shared on a worldwide scale. Unavoidable natural disasters evoke pity and compassion; avoidable turmoil, trepidation, and terror beg answer from reliable sources. Acquiring order between the extremes of anarchy and apathy will never occur accidentally; it requires thoughtful insights, careful planning, and diligent application.

The Bible is the best answer to the world’s needs because it sustains its direct claim to be from the God who created and maintains the universe. The Psalmist recommended considering the endurance of God so that his descendants might be established in God’s favor.

I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. Psalm 102:24-28.

The Bible was written by about 40 men over a period of about 1,600 years, yet it not only maintains the claim to be the word of God, it sustains that noteworthy claim by showing a remarkable consistency of theme and unity of purpose throughout the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament. Perhaps the classic text where the claim of being the word of God or being verbally inspired may be found is 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Please, note that verse is followed by the equally significant claim that the Bible stands alone in having the ability to yield a complete person entirely outfitted with everything he or she needs to accomplish the “good works” a truehearted believer in God will manifest.

Therefore, with the Bible as the unique and dependable basis upon which ethical thoughts, words, and deeds may stand, the Bible will be examined and presented in a variety of ways at Ethical-Media.org. We set forward articles, audio lessons, lessons enhanced with the printed text of the Bible and visual aids including maps and descriptive charts, as well as video presentations that all have the common purpose of pointing the world to the Bible not only as we face unpredictability and uncertainty in life but also as we face an endless eternity stretching before us and our children with the surety and confidence that only by looking to God as he has revealed himself through his word, the Bible, can we find true peace, lasting joy, real meaning, and satisfying purpose.
